Vernon Dursley notices the grey cat
Hey there ! This is my first blog post. In this post I’m gonna be talking about Vernon Dursley’s encounter with the grey cat. So, for all those people who have always wanted to read the Harry Potter books or watch the movies but got no time to do it, I hope this blog helps you. Ok then, let’s get started. The Dursley’s lived in Number 4, Privet Drive, Little Whinghing, Surrey. Vernon Dursley, a big, beefy man lived with his wife, petunia Dursley and his son, Dudley Dursley. Vernon worked for a drill company called Grunnings. One fine morning, he came out of his house to pick up the mail, feeling energetic and happy. He was enjoying the pleasant morning until something weird happened. He saw owls flying across the sky. Yeah, he saw owls flying, in the morning. Then he went inside, wondering about the owls. Then the rest of the day was also weird for him. People were dressed in cloaks of different colours and they were walking across streets happily. Vernon started at them and he ran over a short violet-cloaked man. The man said to Vernon that no apology was needed because he was so happy that You-Know-Who was finally gone and that even muggles should celebrate this happy, happy day. Vernon was weirded out with the man’s behaviour and went back to doing his work. Later that day, many weird things happened like, he saw a grey cat with white square markings around it’s eyes like a spectacle, sitting in the street staring right at Vernon when he passed by and he could see that cat from his room’s window. And that is it for this post. Make sure to check out my next post about Professor Dumbledore and McGonagall’s conversation with Hagrid . Thank you for reading my blog post !!
